Creagen incubator

Cambridge Innovation Center

Idea incubator

IDEA is a student-led venture accelerator that fosters the development of entrepreneurs in the Northeastern community through the educational experience of developing a business from concept to launch. International Entrepreneurship Center

The International Entrepreneurship Center is a place where domestic and international early stage and emerging growth companies can find guidance, resources, and capital necessary to realize success. Our unique approach to entrepreneurship involves drawing on a pool of experienced entrepreneurs to work closely with the Resident Companies to provide active mentoring, close oversight, and involvement in the development of strategy, among other things to turn problems in the market-place into an advantage. Additionally, through our international network, we help our companies expand into other region. The IEC also delivers educational programs for entrepreneurs delivered throughout the world and online.

Mansfield Bio-Incubator

Mansfield Bio-Incubator is a non-profit organization whose mission is to assist early-stage startups and entrepreneurs in biotechnology, other life sciences and medical devices by providing resources such as: 1) equipped lab and office space built using modern design principles, 2) assistance in developing a viable business plan and applications for government and private funding.

Massachusetts Biomedical Initiatives

Massachusetts Biomedical Initiatives (MBI) is a private non-profit corporation which operates three life science incubator laboratory facilities in Worcester. MBI was created in 1988 to support the growth and expansion of biotechnology, medical device and informatics related companies throughout the state, enhancing the status of Massachusetts as a world leader in the medical industry. Massachusetts Medical Device Development Center

The Massachusetts Medical Device Development Center (M2D2) supports the state's smaller medical device companies by offering access to researchers and resources at the UMass campuses in Lowell and Worcester. It provides fee-based services in the areas of business planning, product prototype development, and clinical pathway assistance. In addition, M2D2 offers incubator space and facilities to early-stage companies and individual entrepreneurs.

Massachusetts Office of Business Development

The Massachusetts Office of Business Development (MOBD) helps businesses relocating to Massachusetts and businesses wishing to expand their current operations here. Our staff operates in regions across the state, so we are able to provide you with on-the-ground knowledge and viable connections for your business. We work closely with the private and public sectors to coordinate a whole range of resources at your disposal.

Merrimack Valley Sandbox

The Merrimack Valley Sandbox initiative aims to expand and strengthen the local ecosystem that supports innovative leaders and entrepreneurs in Lowell and Lawrence-thus accelerating economic activity and enhancing the quality of life. The Sandbox is working with area businesspeople and community leaders to encourage entrepreneurs to move from ideas to actual businesses. Mentors, expert speakers, and frequent gatherings help entrepreneurs accelerate their knowledge and give their ideas a better chance of success. Starting June 2013, the Sandbox will be offering co-working space for entrepreneurs in its offices in the Wannalancit building in Lowell.

QUBIC Labs is a startup incubator and innovation hub focused on helping entrepreneurs and innovators to develop world-class companies to serve business, governments, and people. Headquartered in Quincy, Massachusetts, QUBIC Labs is dedicated to identifying and supporting entrepreneurs providing practical business solutions. We are committed to building an ecosystem of entrepreneurs that will make commerce and government more efficient, effective, and innovative.

 

Located 10 miles north of Cambridge, Rilas Incubator provides biotech startups with a turn-key homebase at the junction of I-95 and I-93 in Woburn. This incubator facility, slated to launch fall 2022, is collocated with medicinal chemistry CRO Rilas Technologies. Incubator firms have access to shared lab space (including an enclosed cell culture pod), fully equipped office facilities, and Rilas’ analytical and purification services.

Since joining the World Trade Organization (WTO) in January 2002, Taiwanese industry has faced increasingly strong competition, and companies have had to acquire new knowledge and develop new technology and new innovations to stay current and competitive. The Small and Medium Enterprise Administration (MOEA) was developed and various incubator programs created to establish a support mechanism for starting enterprises and entrepreneurs.

Sky Ventures supports entrepreneurs with seed funding and professional resources. Through 15,000 square-foot best-in-class facilities, Sky Ventures provides a myriad of services for acceleration and commercialization of startup companies. As a catalyst for innovation and economic growth, Sky Ventures brings various organizations, companies and individuals, spanning venture capital firms, angel investors, research centers, and corporate strategic partners to the table to provide insight and best practice.

Located an hour west of Boston, Southbridge Tech Incubator (STI) is a collaborative workspace providing equipment and machines for the hands-on engineering and fabrication of medical devices and other technology products. STI provides access to hundreds of instruments and tools for electrical, optical, mechanical, and biomedical engineering. A network of consultants, mentors, and suppliers contribute a wide variety of skills and experiences to enhance speed to market. Dedicated office or lab space furnished with lab benches, desks, and cubicles are available. Located in the research quad of Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University campus in North Grafton, Massachusetts, Tufts Biotechnology Transfer Center (TBTC) offers small laboratory and office suites to start-up life science companies. TBTC's shared core research facilities include an autoclave room and AAALAC-accredited animal housing. TBTC tenants also enjoy access to the clinical and research faculty, as well as other academic and recreational amenities and services of the campus.

UMass Dartmouth’s Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) is an incubator for technology-driven companies to build their exciting ideas. The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship provides the infrastructure to help early-stage companies grow and mature. The primary objective of the Center is to provide an environment where technology companies will develop into employers located in Southeastern Massachusetts. By attracting these companies to the UMass Dartmouth Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship we hope to facilitate the economic growth of the region. The UMass Lowell Innovation Hub provides startup programming and access to the UMass Lowell's faculty and research resources, as well as collaboration with mentors and sponsors. This space addresses the needs of "open innovation" startups by offering them needed work and laboratory space and access to office resources in the short term, rather than long-term business leases. Located in downtown Lowell's vibrant Hamilton Canal District, UMass Lowell's Innovation Hub provides access to dedicated offices and desks, coworking spaces, meeting and event locations, a prototyping and fabrication lab, support services and much more.

The Venture Development Center at the University of Massachusetts Boston ("VDC") provides a multi-faceted approach to help high-tech startups launch successfully. Located on the Red Line near Kendall Square, the VDC not only has 18,000 square feet of flexible space with office areas and move-in-ready dry and wet labs, but also has a team of professionals to offer business and intellectual property advice to help entrepreneurs build a well-balanced company. Laboratory, product development, and sales and marketing interns, plus bandwidth, hosting, reception, mailing, and office equipment are also available to onsite businesses.

Wachusett Business Incubator - Beginning in 2011, a group of motivated business people embarked on the creation of a business incubator in North Central Massachusetts. The Greater Gardner Business Incubator Network, Inc. (GGBIN), a 501(c)(3) organization, was formed in late 2014 as a result of those meetings. The WBI is a powerful economic development tool. Programs are designed in direct response to the economic concerns of our region and its people.
